For companies operating across these markets, compliance is now a multi-country project. But a compliant e-invoice doesn't guarantee that the bank details on it belong to your supplier.
Fraudsters know this. Fake supplier change requests and altered bank details work because the documents look legitimate. A major process change, with busy teams and new workflows, gives them the opening they need.
